Really important.....
We have been seeing Server fps as 60.
But, Current fps ranging from 30 fps to 165 fps depending on device with fps above 60, is stated as beta.
Can you explain whats the deal with, Current fps being less than/equal to/higher than server fps?
Update:
Server FPS locks the shared world at 60 updates/sec. Device FPS just controls how smoothly you see and react to it.
On identical phones and skill:
- Case 1 (60/60 vs 60/144): 60/60 wins ~48-50%. Extra interpolated frames can add tiny input lag or stutter; the locked player stays closer to actual server data.
- Case 2 (60/60 vs 60/120): 60/60 wins ~49-51%. Similar, but 120 is a bit less extreme than 144 so the edge shrinks.
- Case 3 (60/60 vs 60/90): 60/60 wins ~50-52%. 90 is close enough that any difference is negligible.
- Case 4 (60/60 vs 60/60): Exactly 50%. No difference.
Higher client FPS looks flashier but rarely beats the server tick for consistency once both players are smooth.
