Luna: Luna uses “we” to refer to herself as its the traditional canterlot accent.
Darkheart: Darkheart uses pronouns like “We/Us/They/Them” since they see themselves and their gear as two people.
Venom: They use “we” bc they are literally two mfs.

Btw, unfortunately it’s only gonna be a Sky x Jax au (mostly b4 they turned into adults as me and my friend obviously do not want to make an AU where Sky cheats on Leon), so just know that. It’s not the animal species they are as the species the creators chose DO fit the characters and their personalities while also portraying those said personalities very well. But it’s more of the fact that some of them feel too basic or boring. For example Sky is just a white bunny with blue eyes and Leon is just a dark grey hellhound with red eyes. Obviously there’s going to be MANY furries that are too similar to said characters. Some people may say: “but they’re noticeable from the art style” or something among those lines, but this actually makes it sound worse, as if your character needs an art style to be noticeable, then you probably need to redesign the character. It’s also good to have a certain part or parts of the character’s design that makes them the most recognizable in a way people can be like: “Oh wait it’s “THIS” character!!!
I will use examples from other indie projects, as itily is indie. (The images will be in the comments)
Example 1: Coil from Phighting! If you know this character, it’s easy to not get him mixed up for any other character since because the creators of Phighting use specific charms for Coils character to make him recognizable, like how he has gray skin, or how he has unique curvy horns, how he has streetwear clothing, color scheme, and most importantly, his coils that are on his arms. These characteristics combined make you realize : “hey! This is coil from phighting!”
Or Example 2: How Frisk in undertale has their recognizable oufit! Along with the fact that they have yellow Skin, short brown hair, and closes eyes all the time. These characteristics even if you were to change some of them, make the character more recognizable.
The only characters in itily that really have “charms” or noticeable factors to them are probably Jax. Or at least from the top of my head.. Many of the characters are more of like: “yeah that looks tolerable” and thats it, not much second or really much else, more of just a “yeah sure why not”! But maybe the creators weren’t really focused on that and just wanted to have fun which is fair enough.

As a black person I LOVE drawing my fav characters black, but I also LOVE canonically black characters in media (like Leon), so if Leshy has dreads and would as a human, what would Leon have? Bc I wanna draw Leon with hair, or as a human. Cuz I’m thinking of sum shi like wicks or Cornrows. (Or maybe he just keeps and afro and just combs/picks it)
