I have completed the SAP SF Employee Central Core certification.

I just wanted to share some good news with the community — I’ve officially completed the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification.

What makes this milestone special is that the exam was done under SAP’s new certification model, which is much more practical and hands-on compared to the old multiple-choice format. Instead of just memorizing answers, I had to actually apply configuration and problem-solving skills in real scenarios, which felt much closer to the kind of work we do in real projects.

It was challenging, but also rewarding to see how this new approach validates practical knowledge. I notice how important is to practice using the SAP hands-on practice scenarios, because you do tasks that are similar to the ones in the practice pdf.

If anyone else here is preparing for the new model, I’d be happy to share tips on how I studied and what helped me succeed.

Please, share your advice. SuccessFactors EC or Workday?

Hello everyon!.

I need your valuable advice on this one. I have been studying SuccessFactors Employee Central lately, but I got the opportunity to study as well Workday (I got the manuals, system access, etc from my firm). The thing is that I lack time to focus on all of them, and I'm not sure which one, in the long term, is worth the time to study and focus from now on.

My past experience have been with SAP as a SAP HCM consultant (over 8 years on it) and worked a little bit with integrations with Employee Central.

How is Workday doing lately?. I have read some bad news here from professionals working with it. Is it worth the time to focus on Workday, or should I go with SuccessFactors EC?
