During this shot in the Ray MV, Otako on the upper right window yelled 「いろPが踊った！」, meaning “Even Iro P started dancing!”. I don’t see this line translated and talked about enough in the English community, apparently it is somewhat a meme among Japanese viewers. I find this quite funny because of Otako being the hype machine about Iroha.

I have watched CKP last weekend on a whim, late night 2 a.m. For the next four days my brain has been looping CKP scenes and songs non-stop, and spent my day after work looking at CPK stuffs, I have rewatched so many scenes on YoutTube and Netflix that I have basically rewatched the whole movie a few times.
As a fiction writer I have deadlines to meet, but for the greater part of the week I failed to find time doing anything not CPK related. Just why is it so enjoyable and resonating? The plot isn’t particularly groundbreaking, falling in love with an annoying companion and have to say goodbye in the end, it’s nothing new, plus they are characters that only appeared for 2.5 hours. Yet I have never felt something like this, just where exactly did the magic come from? Is it the power of music, or the world-building? What makes this movie special from others? As a writer I really want to figure out. What do y’all think?
