Assume I’m 10 years old (brand new at this)
I have a spectrum fiber 10G connection and attached is my set up. The ONT (black device, SONU model) gets the internet from outside the house and plugs into the ONLY available internet port. Now I have two issues:
There’s no way for me to connect my spectrum router directly to the ONT. Somehow it works if I connect the router from a wall jack in a different room. I don’t know how or why it works but it does. I’d like to understand what I should do to keep my router closer to my EV panel so everything is in one place.
This house has TP link access points. I don’t know how to connect to them. So internet is not available in some sections of the house. I “Think” the internet from the router should somehow connect to the 8 port tp-link (blue) above. But I’m not sure. PLEASE HELP!!
Please help.
