Tears of joy yall! I’ve been a nervous wreck up until I found out I passed today. I’ve been so overwhelmed with emotions because I really feel like my life is about to change…the endless possibilities excite me and I already have a sponsoring broker 😭who’s so excited for me to join the team.
This whole journey started 2 years ago when my previous employer was doing massive layoffs (although I was safe) and I felt ready to transition to something new and aligned with my goals/interests. It took two years because life was in the way and I ended up finding a new job before finishing my courses and so I had to learn that blah blah ..anyways this current job has been playing with my promised raise so I want to put my career in my hands so I locked in and finished the last course in Feb. and then purchased two crash courses since my education has been so spread out. I gave my self a strict 3 months to relearn, study and practice.
But although people were breathing life into me I still felt like I could fail since ppl kept saying how hard the test is.
But after hyping myself up and then crying through the hype I told myself “we never failed anything before and today won’t be the first” and then the spirt of the Knicks wining streak got me inspired thinking how Jalen Brunson had a major 22 point comeback when I lost hope of wining that game…he locked in and killed it..so with every question I just imagined I was shooting like Jalen.
My Advice/insight - I honestly was surprised how easy it ended up being.. like many say…as long as you know what’s being asked and can identify the term and what each includes or doesn’t it makes it easy to find the right answer quickly.
The practice exams on US Realty Training. (Rico )were aligned with wording/ structure on the exam compared to prep agent by Aceable (where I took my courses ) but I did Prep Agent first then US Realty and I feel like they both equally helped me understand what concepts I needed to know for the exam.
It’s not a hard test if you studied and understand the general concepts, days to do record/keep and terminology.
Good luck to everyone who will take soon just think like the Knicks! You got this
