I tried pushing with randoms for 2 weeks… biggest mistake ever
I genuinely don't know what to say anymore.
Spent the last 2 weeks pushing with randoms as a leaderboard player and this matchmaking has absolutely cooked me.
I went from #5 to #20 and it genuinely feels like skill barely matters when half the games are decided before they even start.
Some matches feel normal, then suddenly you get:
• teammates with zero coordination
• people first timing or straight up throwing
• AFKs / disconnects
• horrible comp matchups
• enemy teams playing like it's finals while your team looks freshly assembled 😭
I'm not saying I played perfectly every game — obviously I made mistakes too. But after this many matches, the pattern gets impossible to ignore.
The worst part is the grind itself. You can win multiple games and make decent progress, then lose it all because of a few awful queues.
At some point it stops feeling competitive and starts feeling like you're gambling on teammates.
Anyone else pushing with randoms dealing with this or am I just cursed?
