I study at Minto Circle. I missed my Class 12 English board examination on 12 May because I accidentally forgot to bring my admit card. When I returned home to collect it and came back to the examination centre, I was denied entry because the gate closing time had already passed.
I sincerely requested the authorities to allow me to appear for the examination. I even offered to write the paper under the direct supervision of the Principal, but my request was not considered.
Later, a senior student who had studied at the school for many years contacted the Vice Principal, Md. Tariq Sir, over a phone call. He told us not to worry and said that I could appear for a supplementary examination.
On 14 May, during the next examination day, I again asked about the matter, and I was informed that the issue would be discussed with the Controller’s Office. On 16 May, I was advised to meet the Proctor, but by the time I reached the office, it was already past 6:30 PM and the office had closed. The following day was Sunday, so the office remained closed.
On 18 May, which was the last examination day, I visited the Proctor’s Office again. There, I was told that they could not take any action and that I needed to contact the Controller’s Office directly. I then visited the Controller’s Office and submitted my application along with a photocopy of my admit card.
Since then, every day I have only been informed that the concerned ma’am is unavailable and that my application has not yet been forwarded to her.
