Found an old die cut kit at a swap meet. It went together well. Tissue and watered down Elmer’s glue.
Set up with 4 channels, a 12g motor that’s way too powerful but balances the plane well and a 2s 300ma lipo.
Flys smooth and stable in calm wind until about 1/2 throttle then gets pretty spicy.

Slowly rebuilding my fleet after a house fire. Scratch built P-63 from Model Aviation magazine. Only real changes I made from the first one are removable wing, horizontal and vertical stabs and spruce stringers on the fuselage sides as I crushed a few balsa ones hand launching. Went with Russian livery as I believe they were the only ones to use them in combat.
