Query regarding 'Proof of Residence' document required to complete the PCC verification at local Police Station

State: MH

District: Thane

City: Dombivli

PCC applied: Regional PSK.

Application status: Local PS.

Now the police are requiring certain documents (Original + Photocopies) as follows:

  1. Passport Size Photo

  2. Birth Certificate or School Leaving Certificate or Domicile Certificate

  3. Society Letter (in Letter mention that you still stay in Society)

  4. Tenant Agreement (for Tenant)

  5. Pagadi House (Rent Receipt)

  6. Zopdi House (Sarve Pavti)

  7. Aadhar Card

  8. PAN Card

  9. Bank Passbook

  10. Ration Card

  11. Light Bill

  12. Marriage Certificate (only for Ladies)

Among all of the aforementioned documents (applicable to me), I don't have only one such document i.e. 3rd document - Society Letter.

Reason: The Society Chairman and Secretary aren't issuing it because they have certain issues with my family. The maintenance is being paid on time. They have even stopped giving out Receipts for the Maintenance. It's just a tactic of Harassment.

I am living in the flat close to 3 decades now along with my parents. Parents have it on ownership from the start - Agreements do exist as well. Latest Electricity Bills and Society Maintenance Receipts (till last year) too are available on parent's name.

Police is refusing to accept the Flat Purchase Agreement as Proof of Residence, also refused to accepting any other document in this category.

(Proof of Residence = Society Letter).

The police said that they won't visit the home to perform the verification themselves. They also said they will reject the PCC and send it back to the PSK because I didn't provide the Proof of Residence to them.

Query: What all documents can be considered in Proof of Residence category apart from Society's Letter? I don't want to involve any Neighbor or rather any Human into this. Is there any legal process to overcome this hurdle?

Note 1: Please don't tell me to record the audio/video responses inside the PS. It's simply not possible and you know the repercussions as well.

Note 2: Being a Techie it's easy for me to just replace the past dates of an old Society Letter to new dates and print it but I am exploring Legal options, first and foremost. Also, Idk whether the local PS calls the Secretary/Chairman just to confirm about the veracity of the Society Letter.

Note 3: I already have my Passport, but due to work requirements I have to undergo a new PCC every few months.

Note 4: Bribing alone doesn't help here because they are not accepting my file without the Society Letter document. Bribing doesn't seem the solution because I have to undergo a new PCC almost once in every 3 months.

Query w.r.t. obtaining Experience Letters from Employers

Hello Everyone.

Query: Is there any Law where it states that Employers (registered) in India have to provide Experience Letters to the Employees? (regardless of the Employment Type or Tenure?)

Employment Type:

  1. Full Time

  2. Part Time

  3. Contractual

  4. Freelance

Tenure: Number of Days/Months.

Purpose: I wish to apply PR overseas and during the Application process respective Bodies are demanding Experience Letters detailing my Job Responsibilities on each Employment record. The Offer Letters, Salary Slips, Relieving Letters, Bank Account Statements, etc aren't enough because the Body requires to verify my Responsibilities on Job w.r.t. the Skill Codes I wish to apply for.

I emailed to few of my past Employers and few of them didn't reply, a few others simply emailed stating they don't have a system of providing Experience Letters and the only thing they can provide is Relieving Letter. RLs don't mention the exact Job Responsibilities.

Legal Advice needed.
