Ok so if i remember Tor said that he doesn't make videos about topics that are already widely covered and (somehow) no-one made a video about him.
If you dont know he was a US political figure who ran for president almost every election (he got the most votes in 1984 i think)
His main organization was the National caucus of labour commities but he also ran the "US labour party" he called his ideology Promethean(maybe) his policy proposals included:
- Nationalising banks and bringing back the gold standard
- The war on drugs but bigger
- Massive infrastructure projects including but not limited to The Bering strait Bridge, some bs with American rivers, replacing all power plants with nuclear ones, fusion tech research
- Building energy weapons in space (according to some sources this influenced parts of the SDI)
-Freezing the debt of the third world (and agriculture also)
-protectionism
-anti-austerity
-he supported civil rights for blacks an women but not for gays( "spread panic not aids" need i say more?)
-he is very anti-malthusian/anti-degrowth, literally writing a book "there are no limits to growth", but also a climate skeptic
He has some connection to socialist movements but that ended by the 70s, was very anti soviet, but very pro-China. He was also fond of Marx but claimed that he was corrupted by Engels the british agent.
He is also at least partially responsible for many modern conspiracies: His most well known one is that the British crown is responsible for all drug trafficking and communism(also claimed that Jefferson invented communism), that they sabotaged the Union and Taiping because they wanted the US and China to be agrarian nations dominated by free trade.
Also claimed that the financial oligarchy went from Venice to the Dutch to the UK; there have been multiple cranks in my own country(and broad eastern europe that have claimed they came up with it but no they stole it fro LaRouche!)
This isn't even half of it! theres also some stuff about cosmism,plato,synarchism, Leo Strauss, music and other crank theories.
I'm not even American i know most of this because they hosted a China-CEE conference in Croatia last year in a economics university where my friend works and they gave out pamphlets that say this but like its a good thing.
