I will ALWAYS appreciate and love Giannis for what he did for this city and team. He is our greatest player in franchise history and of course will have his jersey in the rafters.

However…

It’s time. We aren’t winning with him on our team. We have tried adding pieces around him and it just hasn’t worked. Idk about yall, but his ongoing injuries the last few seasons need to be addressed. Before we know it, he could absolutely tank his value with a bigger injury.

We need to start a rebuild. We need to get value back for him now. With Jenkins coming in and some very nice young players we already have, let’s start something fresh and new.

I’m sorry but the people saying we should keep him or extend him are drowning in nostalgia and love for him as a player. Keeping him will not get us to a championship and it’s only going to hurt our future more.

In addition, his attitude has most certainly got worse. It’s hard to believe or think everyone report is true, but the new news we got from Turner just makes me think Giannis really has more red flags than we have always thought.

Let’s get a trade done. Please. For our future.
