I received an Amazon OA last week after applying for both SDE 1 and SDE 2 roles in the USA over the past 1–2 months. It seemed to be tied to an SDE 2 opportunity because one of my SDE 2 applications changed to Under Consideration, and when I opened the assessment link it specifically mentioned completing the assessment for consideration for SDE 2 opportunities.

However, today that SDE 2 application changed to No Longer Under Consideration, and I never saw any assessment-related status update after completing the OA.

I’m wondering whether the OA results could still be linked to other active applications, or if I might still be in Amazon’s interview pipeline for SDE 2 (or potentially other opportunities).

Has anyone experienced something similar or have any insights into how Amazon handles this?

Recently my application status changed to no longer under consideration after completing the assessment.
But haven’t got rejection email yet, so is it normal?

I have already online mix reviews of people stating it might be moved internally to different req id by recruiter?

Just received an OA for Amazon SDE 1, but I’m not sure which role/location it’s associated with since I applied to multiple positions back in March and only received the OA now in May.

Does anyone know if Amazon is still actively interviewing for New Grad SDE 1 roles, or if most teams have already reached headcount?

Also, any suggestions or tips for attempting the OA would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I recently submitted an application for software engineer with meta and submitted the initial prescreening. I wanted to understand if they are moving forward everyone to initial prescreen or its comes through specific resume filters.

Should I keep any expectations for next steps which is technical screening round, would love to hear if someone has gone through similar experience?
