B.Sc CS from DU vs B.Tech CSE from a Central University?? – Really Confused!!!

Hey everyone, 👋

I'm currently trying to decide between two possible paths and would love some advice from people who have gone through something similar.

I appeared for CUET this year and my scorecard was this is roughly:

Physics: 100/250

Maths: 69/250. (ik , im bad at math😭🥀)

English: 166/250

Computer Science: 192/250

GAT-152/250

Total is around 528/1000 (excluding GAT).

I belong to the OBC-NCL category and live in Delhi.

Based on previous year trends, I think I have a

decent chance of getting B.Sc Computer Science in mid-tier DU colleges like:

Ramanujan College

Keshav Mahavidyalaya

Aryabhatta College

Acharya Narendra Dev College

Dyal Singh College etc etc

At the same time, I was looking at B.Tech CSE options and came across Various Central Universities which offers B.Tech CSE and I am elligible for them too like , BBAU luckhnow, Garhwal University Uttrakhand, Haryana central University

My confusion is:

On one hand, DU seems to offer a better ecosystem, networking, name, brand and exposure etc etc

On the other hand, B.Tech CSE feels like the more "standard" degree for software jobs, while B.Sc CS sometimes feels like I'm taking a wrong or less common route.

.

So my questions are:

Please do answer if u can for any of these 😭

Would really appreciate honest opinions from students, graduates, and people working in tech.

Thanks!♥️♥️♥️
