It's almost been a year since our July application, and my startup might die if we don't get money soon.

I need advice for funding, would greatly appreciate any thoughts.

Submitted an NSF STTR P1 proposal during the July window last year, was recommended in Feb, received updated admin questions and cybersecurity plan last month, radio silence since then. PO is unresponsive, our funds are running out. I'm afraid of telling my PO our startup is about to die, maybe they'll think our application is no longer worth considering?

We're running on fumes and passion (mostly passion)

My immediate thought is securing short term loans from bank and angels to be paid off as soon as the grant comes in, but if anyone has other ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Are NSF STTR POs getting back to you guys on questions?

We submitted an NSF STTR Phase 1 proposal a while back and as we all know, many many many things have happened since then on NSF's side. After due diligence, they gave us one update in Feb, but I haven't heard anything since. I've sent emails and a linkedin message to our PO but have not received a response. Are POs allowed to talk about what's happening right now? Should I try to reach out again?
