Correct Orders Making Customers Mad?

Sometimes, customers will give me their orders and I swear I will have made it exactly like they asked but they still end up getting mad and asking for a refund!!

For example, earlier today I got an order that called for a decaf iced latte with whipped cream. I make the decaf iced latte, add whipped cream, and serve the drink. The customer then gets mad and says that they “didn’t ask for whipped cream” and get a refund.

Similar things have happened where I make the order exactly how the customer asks, but they still get mad. Am I going crazy?!? Do I keep mis-reading the orders?!?!? Or is this just a glitch…? Not sure, but whipped cream gate made me rage quit the game 😔

What are some stories where choices ACTUALLY matter?

I recently just finished catching up on Only Pretend and I have to say, the importance + frequency of player choices is absolutely one of my favorite things about the story!!!

Since then, I’ve been searching for more stories where choices actually matter (not just random options for illusion of choice), but have been coming up sort of empty. I figure it’s likely because the coding is a lot more difficult and it isn’t easy making so many extra branches.

The recommendations I’m looking for don’t necessarily have to have choice systems as complex as Only Pretend’s (although if you have them, I’d love to hear 😏) BUT, I would really like to find more stories where there are point systems that directly impact storylines and how the story ends!! :-)

TLDR: what are your recommendations for stories where choices matter/have a point system that affects the ending?
