This is the VOR-A into Willow Run (KYIP). Just curious on what you all would do if at minimums saw the approach lights. This allows us to descend to 100 above tdze obviously but since there is no tdze since this approach is not assigned to a specific runway, what would you do? My first thought would be just to open up a different approach plate to the runway you'll circle to and get the tdze from there.
Just recently obtained my instrument rating last week and now I'm working toward my commercial license with the ultimate goal of the airlines. I live in the state of Michigan, so community college is free up to an associates degree. I have just the fall semester left at my community college and I'm looking to get my bachelors online. I got into University of Michigan but don't think it'd be best to go into debt (I'm responsible to pay for college and flight school) and I didn't get any aid. From my understanding, a bachelors degree is simply checking a box that airlines like to see, doesn't really matter the field of study or school. I was looking into WGU because it's comparatively cheap, can be done quickly, and is accredited. Wondering if anyone has a WGU degree and if you'd recommend it for my situation.
