Theory, the Lake of Tears will be created by the tears of frustration of the viewers of From

It makes perfect sense and it's a stroke of genious that will break the 4th wall.

By watching this terrible show we are not only spectactors, but also participants in the story.

Our tears of frustration watching everyone acting dumb. Partaking in mysteries that go nowhere and have no pay off. Being witness to the zero character development. And seeing the MIY doing twenty overacted evil smirks per episode. Will create the Lake of Tears.

This was already foreshadowed in the first episode when Ethan was playing with his finger toys. He got frustrated with the shitty story that Julie was narrating, and he nearly cried. This was also the first time The Lake of Tears was mentioned.

I'd like to go deeper into this theory, but I shouldn't be talking about this, knowledge comes at a cost, and I also gotta go, no, no, no, nooooooo.

Summary of all 4 season of FROM. A Wizard (MIY) did it.

Most of the mysteries are explained with this lazy TV Trope.

¿The voice in the Radio? The MIY did it.

¿The Matthews' house collapsing? The MIY probably did it.

¿The storm that ruined the crops? The MIY probably did it.

¿People hearing voices? The MIY did it.

¿People getting insane, eg, Harvey, Abby, etc? The MIY did it.

¿The plans of the town residents failling? The MIY did it.

¿The creatures coordinating better from time to time? The MIY did it.

¿Weird phone calls or radio transmissions from deceased prople? The MIY did it.

¿Songs in the dinner radio making fun of them? The MIY did it.

¿Abbie telling bullshit to Boyd in the dungeon? The MIY probably did it.

¿The guy who had been transformed into a doll resurrecting? The MIY did it.

¿The rope ladder failling? The MIY did it.

¿Fatima accelerated transformation into a monster? The MIY did it.

¿The talismans disappearing? The MIY did it.

Etc, etc. The MIY did it.

Then we have some stuff that the Boy in White did.

And some meaningless mysteries like the music box and the ballerina. The script writers admited they did all that part because they found a cool music box in the prop storage.

Heck, even the MIY is responsible of people dying each cycle. Or maybe even of the ritual killing of the children that started it all.

Conclusions: Laziest tv show ever. The MIY is the main protagonist of the show. The BIW is a minor secondary protagonist. The townsfolks are all NPCs. From should be called "The adventures of the Man in Yellow" I didn't sign up for this shit.
