Mom is frantic because she went to withdraw some money from her investment account at tangerine and she noticed 106k missing they also changed her phone number to receive notifications to some random phone number that’s how she knew something was off. It looks like they created some other account unknown to her and transferred out all her money. Tangerine claims they are investigating and would return her money but it’s been 2 weeks and she can’t seem to get hold of anyone. She suspects it must be internal because no one else has her info or password for that bank and she stated she even recently changed it. Who can she go to this bank is so weird that there’s no head office or no one you can actually speak to.
