Hebrew writing practice – is this readable/natural?

I’m going to visit some Jewish friends in the US soon, and the day my partner and I fly home is also the beginning of Rosh Hashanah.
We decided to give them a small gift, and I wanted to make them a little card wishing them a happy and sweet New Year (Shana Tova U’Metuka). I’ve been practicing writing the message in Hebrew, and I’d love to get some feedback.
I’ve attached a picture of my practice version. Is the Hebrew readable? Can you understand what I’m trying to say? And does it make grammatical sense/naturally express a New Year’s greeting?
I know the writing is crooked and a bit messy 😅 this is not the final card. I just made this version to practice writing the Hebrew before I make the actual card.
