do i go to the ER? when is the best time to go? (aus)

i haven’t been able to walk properly for over a week and keep getting flare ups. it’s very inconsistent, 5hrs ago i was extremely nauseous and light headed with extreme pain in my abdomen, 2hrs ago i was walking normal, 5min ago i was folded over in the office at work because i couldn’t move without pain. it fluctuates A LOT. i spoke to a dr on telehealth who thinks it’s endometriosis, however, since i think the cyst ruptured over a week ago, im worried about infection or other causes. however i worry this isn’t an emergency. though i’m getting really bad flare ups at work that make me want to vomit, give me hot flashes and i feel like im going to pass out. but then they disappear randomly. it’s not long lived enough to feel like an emergency and i worry about clogging up the hospital.

idk what to do because i know im not a priority but im concerned that a GP won’t find out what’s wrong with me before this gets too bad. i thought this would be over by now. it got better for a little, but now its just staying consistently bad to the point where i can’t really do anything.

what would you do? and if you’re not a girl, what would you tell your wife/daughter/mother/female friend to do?

studying with endometriosis flare ups

haven’t been able to walk properly for about 2days, struggled for an additional 4 days but not counting bc i was technically moving around. got chronic pain for over a week and literally can’t stop crying im so exhausted. every dr has been useless, er was useless and even if i get diagnosed there’s nothing they can do. i have GAMSAT soon and haven’t studied in almost 2 weeks because im in so much pain. i don’t get sick leave at work because im casual, trying to balance this all is near impossible. everything feels heavy and painful and i think im just going to fail. i’m just so sad and tired. idk what to do, finding the willpower to study is virtually non existent right now.

i feel like im crazy because it keeps flaring up and then going down again. everytime i get back to baseline i feel as though its pathetic im letting this wear me down as much as it has

think i had rupture- still sick after 5 days, no access to dr

so i got taken off the healthcare card, work overnights so no drs are open or available and im working again tomorrow night, also have an exam next week.
i had an ovarian cyst rupture (i think) about 5 days ago. still struggling to eat, got nausea and feel extremely weak. a couple of days ago i was getting fever symptoms. that’s went away but my digestive system and urinary system feel affected now, and the dull aches won’t go away.

if i ignore it and go about my life is this something that goes away? because i genuinely don’t have access to any healthcare systems right now except the hospital and last time they didn’t even give me the right scan. also i’d have to get myself there and it just doesn’t seem worth it, but idk what’s wrong and nobody has been able to figure it out.

i keep getting into trouble by my parents because “you didn’t go dr” but ive been to 5 doctors and none of them have helped in the slightest. im at a point where im considering jut ignoring it because even if it ultimately kills me at least im doing the stuff i wanna do, because this has been yrs ongoing and everyone is useless.

extreme nausea after ovarian cyst rupture- 5 days post rupture

is this normal? how long does it last?

i’m struggling to eat, managing 1 meal per day atm but i feel so nauseous. i feel really lazy because im so exhausted right now. the pain fluctuates a lot. the other day it was unbearable all day for 2 days and i couldn’t walk. now ill feel fine one second and awful the next.
i really really want to go back to the gym and i need to study for an exam next week but i genuinely am struggling to watch movies and shows that aren’t completely stupid rn.
idk what i’m asking for. i guess if the nausea is normal? i don’t want to go dr or hospital because there’s literally nothing they can do.

i’m so sick and tired of how behind women’s health is

pains that make me bedridden for days, can’t eat, can’t sleep, no strength in my body, sometimes even loss of vision or consciousness. yet i go to hospital and get given panadol (if anything) and told it’s normal. go to a specialist and get told over and over to take the pill, or asked if i’m trying to conceive. i’m sick of the never ending suffering. on top of that, i have to study, i have to work, i have to look and be perfect all the time. for LESS MONEY and LESS OPPORTUNITY than my male counterparts. i’m sick of so much about being a woman. that society seemed to deem us as dramatic and unimportant, gave us ONE TYPE OF PILL and called it a day.
sorry for the rant im just so upset from the constant pain and bloating, i think i had a ruptured cyst. but who knows, and even if we do, there’s no treatment anyway.
