What good thing did happen to you this week? (29.06.26 - 05.07.26)

Hi fellow Redditors,

It’s that time of the week again!

To those that are new: this post series is meant to spread some positivity and encourage people to notice and value those, sometimes seemingly small yet good things that happen to us in everyday life. It doesn't matter what it is about, whether a stranger smiling at you in a coffee shop, successfully completing an exam or trying something new, because at the end of the day, all that matters is that this thing made you happy.

It's also perfectly normal if you don't have nothing to share. Sometimes we have blunt days and weeks, and it's totally fine. However, I still want to encourage everyone to sometimes take just 5 minutes of your time every day, and think through what happened to you that day, and once you have collected your thoughts, look for the good things and just appreciate them a bit. :) Lots of love to you all!

Allow me to begin:

- I had been meaning to buy a door stopper and I've finally found one in a nearby store for a good price
- I had a good, resting sleep
- I got some shorts with extra pockets that will be perfect for work

What good thing did happen to you this week? (22.06.26 - 28.06.26)

Hi fellow Redditors,

It’s that time of the week again!

We've been over an extremely challenging week, I must say. The weather has been spectacular, but at a cost. I hope everyone is doing well and taking care of their loved ones. It's important - especially in this heat - to check in more often on our family members, house pets, and strangers as well. Please make sure you drink enough water, stay in the shade or a cool place, and even if you have to leave the house, you should wear sunscreen!

A fellow Redditor shared a very descriptive and useful guide on this subreddit, please if you haven't read it, go ahead and do so: "Heatstroke: How to Recognize It, Give First Aid, and Prevent It (Life-Saving Information for Hot Weather)"

But, without further ado, please feel free to share something good that happened to you this week!

Allow me to begin:

- A made a new friend
- A friend accepted to be an audience to my presentation
- A package of mine got delivered way earlier than expected
- My colleague is learning more and more everyday and he's doing a great job

What good thing did happen to you this week? (18.05.26 - 24.05.26)

Hi fellow Redditors,

unfortunately, the previous post did not gain as much popularity as the other posts, however, I am still motivated and stoked to ask about all the good things that happened to you guys this week! It's always so refreshing for me to think about how we can genuinely make someone feel better by just staying positive. It's like a magic spell that has only good side-effects and costs nothing. Thank you guys, you are all the real deal!

Now, back to the question: Take a moment to think about everything that happened to you this week, from the tiniest spark of happiness to the biggest moments of joy and excitement. No moment is too small or insignificant. If something made you feel even a little lighter, calmer, or happier, then it mattered, and it’s worth celebrating.

Allow me to begin:

- Noticed a car on the side of the road, offered help, thankfully it was already sorted out

What good thing did happen to you this week? (11.05.26 - 17.05.26)

Hi fellow Redditors,

this is going to be our third post in the making, I am super excited to read all the good things that happened to you guys this week! It's always heart-warming to see how just a simple ice all the way to successfully completing some tests and more can affect one's life in a positive manner. On top of that, it also really helps others see those - even if seemingly small yet still very significant - happy moments in their life. Moments that bring us forward and keep us in check in the grey everyday. You are all some real beautiful people!

Now, back to the question: Please take a moment and think through what exactly happened to you this week, and try to highlight the moments that brought from the smallest, tiniest amount of happiness all the way to the earth-shattering joy and excitement, and share it in the comments. Remember: It doesn't matter how insignificant the thing seems, if it made You feel just a little bit better, it's already worth more than anything.

Allow me to begin:

- My German skills have been complimented
- Met with a friend and family
- Noticed an issue at work and after reporting it, it was almost immediately fixed

Hi fellow Redditors, hope this post gets a pass. I've run into this question on a different subreddit and personally found it intriguing and provided a great opportunity to spread positivity and show appreciation for the tiny things that happen to us day to day and makes our days whole.

The question is simple: What is something that happened to you this week, something that brought joy, pride or happiness whilst your stay in Germany?

It can be as simple as a smile from the mailman through an advancement in your career all the way to winning the lottery. It doesn't matter what it is (adhering to Reddit's and this Subreddit's policies of course) as long as it made You happy.

I'd like to encourage everyone to evaluate their week, think really through how this week went, and actively look for positivity in these, sometimes grey days.

Allow me to begin:

- I found a great picture and a set of shelves on Kleinanzeigen, therefore I can bring more life into my bedroom and living room
- I visited a neighbouring city completely on my own riding my motorcycle
- After a long holiday I finally got to see my lovely co-workers again
