Jhansi Cries Online Over Power Cuts Daily - But Only 15 People Came To Protest

Jhansi Is Suffering Daily… But Nobody Wants To Step Outside Their Home For Change

Every day I see 4-5 posts about electricity cuts in Jhansi. Power goes every 30 minutes, especially at night. Water issues are also becoming worse. People are frustrated, angry, tired - and rightly so.

But here’s the reality nobody wants to talk about:

Most people only post online, complain in comments, make memes, and then move on. Nobody wants to actually reach the electricity office, file complaints together, go to the DM office, or raise their voice on ground level.

Recently, Teesri Aankh News founder and reporter Pankaj Raksa reached the DM office and sat on dharna regarding the city’s electricity and water problems. But despite the whole city suffering, only around 15-20 people came to support him.

That’s the sad truth.

We expect problems to disappear while sitting at home scrolling Instagram and Reddit. Online outrage means nothing if people refuse to stand together in real life.

If an entire city suffers but only 15 people show up, then maybe the authorities already know people won’t do anything beyond posting stories.

Change only comes when citizens leave their comfort zone and speak together - not just online, but on the ground too.
