Why is it whenever I ask a question to my BCBA or give insight to what I witness with my patient and programs, they do not give a straight answer?

I'm an RBT and lately I am finding it a bit difficult for my BCBA's answers or lack of answers to questions I have or discoveries I made with what is working with my patient and what is not. She is a new BCBA and is new to the company so I just figured I cut her some slack but it has been a month and a half. She is part-time and Telehealth which makes things a bit tricky on her availability whenever my patient has ever changing behaviors which is almost on the daily. I see it is hard to be a BCBA, but sometimes I wish they would have given my patient an in-clinic BCBA to be there to witness all the behaviors and respond to my questions in a timely manner than rarely getting back to me on Teams. I love my job, the kiddo I work with, and the other therapists and his family who support him. I sometimes feel like I am not being heard and this is so incredibly frustrating as I love this job. It is my dream job. And I want nothing else but this to be my career for a long time.

What can I expect as a Ro Health School RBT?

I use to be a special education paraprofessional, and am currently a RBT in a clinic-based setting. I honestly missed the school setting and I am hired by Ro Health to be a school RBT and the pay is way better. So what can i expect as a school RBT? Any tips?

I feel like the company i work for lied about pay raises every 6 months

For context, I'm an RBT who has been with this company since October of last year and since transferring locations back in May has gone downhill. From my understanding since I started, that RBTs get pay raises every 6 months automatically as long as you are in good standing to which I hope I am but it seems everyone around is questioning the same thing...pay raises have not happened. What is going on???

I have been making mistakes on my session notes since May

I am an RBT. Last week Friday, I just realized from another BCBA who i was covering a kiddo in her caseload one day denied my note. I read into it and went to her for clarification on what needs to be corrected. She told me I did not need to put in 20 minutes for the non-billable box for an individualized break when I take my 20 minute lunch break.

I was horrified because the BCBA I am under never corrected or denied my session notes. I had transferred to a closer location to my home in May and this has been going on since then until Friday. So I knew about this from another BCBA who was actually reading my sessions notes and it tells me that my BCBA i am under is not even reading my session notes or isn't paying attention to what I was putting in.

According to the clinical director during a frw meetings we had, the company I work at is really cracking down on what we can and cannot put in our session notes and it sometimes gets me confused and mixed up. Insurance companies want to know when and how long our bathroom breaks are and who we doubled up with and their title.

And it seems each clinic location varies on what they put in their session notes.

I asked the BCBA is there is a way to correct the old session notes. She said it is already too late.

I felt so stupid and awful. It's been eating me up since then. I genuinely love this job...I wonder if I am going to be in trouble but nobody has said anything. I talked to a few coworkers and all they could do was listen and provide support.

Has anyone gone throigh something similar?
