Visual Parallels Between 'That Album' and Kendrick Lamar + Friends
Edit: Seeing this post go down like a lead balloon with a majority of y'all, I have a genuine question. How do you rationalise Drake wearing the same outfit(s), copying the same dance moves, copying the same pose, copying the same location, etc, as being a 'reach' or a 'coincidence' when he is dissing the people he is copying these things from? Genuinely curious to hear people's perspectives on this. Why do you think the dude who is dissing lyrically would be beyond dissing visually in the music videos for these records?
Dude calls himself 'the petty king' and you think he's past being petty?
Set on a gradient from solid to reach territory.
The visuals seem to have been overseen by X8/Red Lebanese - a publishing house / creative studio out of Paris. The visuals themselves are genuinely very well done, but ... are they setting ol' boy up? Some of these make sense as subliminal disses, whilst others just seem kinda fanned out.
What do y'all think?
