Segments of walls and not books?

Segments of walls and not books?

I think the objects we see organised around a centre point in the still life den might just be sections of the walls cut out. It's no coincidence that the only two places we see blocks strewn across the floor and holes in the walls is all within a close distance to the still life den. What do we reckon?

Still life, Mannequins & the Caveman

Potentially a spoiler if you don't want to delve into current theories about the movie!

This may have been discussed before, but the recent A24 post including 3 Mannequins and the Cap'n Clark's mannequin sparked the idea once again.

Going off the theory that the backrooms may interpret imagery of people as a real person, and thus attempt to make 'life' a result, is it possible that Async is aware of this?

We have some good evidence that the complex has copied/recreated Clark as his pirate persona into a still life. The recent photos uploaded by A24 seem to nod to this.

In both FF3 and the movie trailer we have spotted the same caveman cutout. Of course it could be a coincidence and the Complex has just copied a cutout, but what if Async placed it there on purpose?

We have seen that the caveman cutout for the trailer stands in front of a doorway, which is being recorded, presumably by Async. What if this was a test by them to see if the Complex reacts to human imagery, and tries to copy it? Using a caveman would be an interesting starting point as the copy would likely have low intelligence and thus pose less of a threat if it were brought to life (if the Complex could guess what a 'caveman' is)

I'm aware that as far as we know from the web series, Async has not encountered a still life, but they are aware of replication and copying as per the ending of Static Dead End.

Final point which is far less likely to be linked but could be funny, the wrap photo of Kane included the caveman, whilst he was in a full hazmat suit... Async MUST own these cutouts.. (who knows).
