Is it possible to have no headache with an iatrogenic puncture leak but only have positional muffled hearing, clogging, crackling, pressure, popping, rumbling and tinnitus after a needle puncture? Ent says ears are normal, multiple mri's are normal. Ear symptoms started within days of epidural injection. Blood patch 6 months later did not help ears.
Does your eustachian tube dysfunction from tmj feel better when you lay down? Seems as soon as I stand my ear clogs immediately and it does this off and on all day even though doctors say no fluid in the ear
Does this sound like TMJD?
I started hearing my pulse in my left ear (pulsatile tinnitus) constantly that is definitely in time with my heartbeat accompanied by ear clogging, pressure, popping even hearing my breathing through that ear at times. I also have middle ear myoclonus in both ears that sounds like a rumble or vibration. My muscles above both ears twitch like a fast spasm and when I lie down on my pillow on my side, I feel them twitch fast on my pillow.
I've been to multiple Ents and they all day my ears are fine no fluid and hearing scans are normal.
I've had multiple mri's for the pulse sound and nothing is found.
Tried a night guard but that had zero effect and also physical therapy exercises and massaging hasn't helped. Flexeril and baclofen hasn't helped either.
Went to a tmd dentist and I do have a small click in my left tmj. I can hear it when opening even slightly or if i put my finger in my ear and close it pops against finger but I have zero jaw pain. Tmd dentist said I dont present as a typical tmd patient since no jaw pain is associated with all this.
I do have teeth marks on my tongue when I wake up and also have had a sore jaw and muscles that would usually subside after a few days but nothing ear related at all!
My biggest concern is the pulsing in my ear that is constant. I dont know if tmd would cause this.
This just seems like a lot of symptoms to be from a painless little tmj snap.
