Hey guys, I'm self-publishing a children's book and am trying to give kids (7-10) the best possible approximation of the English pronunciation by just using the Polish alphabet.

Which of these [transcriptions] would you find most natural?

1. stove - kuchenka - [stouw] or [stołw]

2. sheep - owca - [sziip] or [szijp]

3. ship - statek - [szip] or [szyp]

4. spoon - łyżka - [spuun] or [spun]

5. whisk - trzepaczka - [łisk] or [łysk]
