Hello! I am hoping to get some insight from people who maybe have done a similar move to the one I am about to do. I am moving from western PA to LA at the end of this month. I will be driving across country with my partner, dog and cat. I am wondering if anyone who has done the same or similar move has route suggestions? We are planning to take about 5-6 days to make it. We are wanting a safe route with good places to stop each night that are not desolate. TYIA!
Hello! My partner and I who are young professionals (early 30s) are moving to LA. We will be working in Beverly Hills and Westwood. We are considering apartments in Brentwood (above wilshire, below San Vincente and west of Barrington) and Santa Monica (specifically the wilshire montana area). Considering our ages and work locations, what area would you recommend between the 2? We’ve noticed in Santa Monica only one parking spot is usually guaranteed with units and if you have 2 cars the other car would require street parking. We will have 2 cars, so how much of an issue would this be? We noticed Brentwood units usually have 2 parking spaces in tandem. The units in Brentwood seem to be a bit bigger as well. We are moving from out of state so we hope to find a safe community with activities where we live. Is there difficulty getting to the beach during the week if not living in Santa Monica? Appreciate any and all thoughts.
Hello. My partner and I are moving to LA October 1st for work. We are going this weekend for a long weekend to tour a bunch of apartments. Is it likely that we will be able to sign a lease for 10/01 this far in advance? We are coming from an area where you can sign a lease months in advance but we know it’s not like that in LA. We will be a little over a month from move in when we tour all these places so we wanna know what our expectations should be!
