I play in band in Philly and Elephant 6/NMH means a lot to us. Since so many of these incredible songs will likely never be performed live again, we wanted to do everything we can to give them the tribute they deserve.

Remember those "Smile-Affirming" posts DJDarkFlow did on here a while back where they put together a list albums that capture the spirit and feeling of SMiLE?

I was thinking of trying to put together a list of albums that do the same thing but for Pet Sounds

The issue is that I think a Pet Sounds style album is way more broad and hard to pin down than Smile, so I think we should define what makes something "Pet Sounds-affirming" first and foremost, and I honestly don't feel like I can do that alone.

Here is 9 albums that feel Pet Soundsy to me, less in sonic quality and more in emotion/how the album flows. let me know you think fits, what should be added, and any other general thoughts.
