VelocityOne Standalone Throttle Quadrant Mod
This is my VelocityOne standalone throttle quadrant mod. I grabbed a “broken” velocityone yoke off ebay for $50 + shipping, tore it down, and reused the motherboard and clamps to make a custom mount to pair with my honeycomb alpha yoke.
this is by far the cheapest throttle you can build with all the bells and whistles, trim wheel, multiple throttle controls, and a button box. can’t really beat it for the price.
if you’re thinking about doing this, ebay auctions are the easiest way to score a good deal on damaged or “for parts” yoke — you’ll need the motherboard from the yoke so you can’t just get the throttle.
