Not properly labeled

I am a chocoholic. I love chocolate. Chocolate is made with milk. I recently developed a milk allergy and so I've struggled to find chocolate that I can eat. I know dark chocolate is made with little to no milk in it and with how expensive these chocolates are you would think they would say that they contain milk, but nope. I really need to start looking at the ingredients rather than the may contain label. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ I'm lucky my allergy only makes me itchy for a few minutes.

Milk derivatives

I recently got a coffee creamer that was supposed to be non dairy. I have a mild dairy allergy and I wanted creamer that I could enjoy. I look at the ingredients cus usually the container will advertise that it's dairy free and I had ordered this online as a delivery. The bottle says it contains milk derivatives. My question is if that is still considered dairy. My family says it isn't, but they also don't take my allergy seriously.
