Ultramarines Leviathan

Invictus, the Unyielding.

Slow and ponderous in his sarcophagus as he was in life - there are few who are not emboldened by his unwavering fearlessness. His final moments were punctuated by the numbers that fell at his feet before the traitors were able to press the primarch. His name is forever remembered in the Hall of Heroes.

Ultramarines Contemptor

Octavian Meridius, Warden of Ultramar

Succumbing to wounds dealt by traitors on Calth, Meridius was granted a second life in the sarcophagus of a dreadnought.

He dedicated his every action following to defending the worlds of Ultramar, before finally dying protecting his primarch from the depraved hordes of the Emperor’s Children at Thessala. Ave.

First Captain Andros

First Captain Andros (M31) led 50 marines of the 1st company, alongside Custodians, Suzerains, and various second founding chapters.

At the end, it was he holding the line against the power of the Kakaphony that bought the survivors the time to retreat - and Guilliman to heal.

A hero who will be remembered.

Aeonid Thiel

Aeonid Thiel was one of the first loyalists to consider combat against other Astartes, and for that he was censured. When the heresy broke out, his knowledge (and brash, unapologetic actions) elevated him to legendary status. He is the reason sergeants wear red helmets, and indeed without him the war may have been lost.

He was at Thessala, pictured here with a stolen sword of Guilliman, but his current whereabouts are unknown.
