Hey all, We just shipped a command line tool and MCP that makes your recordings more approachable to interact with.

After installing at the link above, run `superwhisper --help` to get started

You get search, export, stats, vocab, snippets, and an mcp server you can point Claude at.

Lots of potential here. A few of our favorite use cases:

Drop it in a daily script for your stand-up to pull from recent recording + meetings
Auto-generate and access meeting summaries
Analyze past meeting notes
Have an agent read your transcripts, suggest vocab additions, and add them with vocab add
Same for text replacements and snippets, built from how you actually talk

Capture with your voice, then let your scripts and agents do the rest. Give it a try and tell me what you build.

Release Day!

We have just released version 2.16 of Superwhisper for macOS.

S1-Voice & S1-Language models are now deployed in the US East, US West and Europe, you should see the speed improve dramatically (~4x) in the EU and 1.5x-2x on the west coast.

Features & Improvements

Added theme control to switch between light, dark, and system appearance modes
New sound effect style & options
Experimental access to S1-Mini local model
Enhanced vocabulary processing - support for up very large vocabulary lists
Added Stat share card feature

Fixes

Meeting mode now respects language selection in AI summary
Model picker now shows checkmarks for downloaded models
Fixed "No voice found" error that could occur during live transcription
Improved S1 region failover and host handling reliability
Fixed side sheet and mode panel slide animations
Settings sidebar now resets to list view when reselecting tabs
Massive improvements to the local language model output quality
