30M. PVD. Have Floaters. Doctors say it’s fine. I don’t know anymore.

I noticed floaters at 29 years and 6 months. I got exams and was diagnosed with PVD in August 2025. Have had multiple doctor’s visits tell me I’m fine. I had a dilated exam with a retinal specialist on June 22 and said that I’m fine and have “garden variety” of floaters. After him I’ve had 2 Octomaps, most recent in July 21. Everyone one tells me I’m fine and that most people have them and just live with them. The reason for those visits is because my right eye vision got worse but they only prescribed 0.25 with astigmatism.

Sometimes I see new floaters. I thought I did recently but at this point I think I’m chasing zebras. I worried I won’t be able to tell if a retinal detachment happens now.

I’m worried because I am a photographer and videographer.
