Even though this is towards the end of Carl's life, his voice is so strong and he sounds amazing! Carl developed such a powerful, slightly raspy, soulful voice with age and he has so much range and texture to his voice. He really puts so much emotion into this song! God Bless Carl Wilson!!
Nearly 15 years ago the Smile Sessions were released by The Beach Boys. A 12 part series of mini-documentaries was released on the bands official Youtube channel to coincide with the release of the box set. The videos are unlisted but luckily can still be watched on this playlist.
Music Video for We're All Together Now by Slam Jam. The music played during Raw is War/War Zone and the anthem of the Attitude Era. The original music video was filmed in 1995 during the New Generation Era and featured The Undertaker, Paul Bearer, Bret Hart, Diesel, Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon. You can definitely feel the Attitude Era on the horizon with this video.
Slam Jam Line-up:

Mike Love is untouchable when it comes to the hat game in rock n' roll. He is in a league of his own and no one even comes close. He started experimenting with fedoras in 1965 but when The Beach Boys played California Girls on the Jack Benny Hour in November of 1965 Mike made his mark as a hat man when he debuted his signature flat cap. As the music changed, the hats changed, but by the 1980's he settled into wearing Beach Boys branded baseball hats as the band became more of a nostalgic, touring act.
The Beach Boys rocking out to some Rock n' Roll Music live on The Midnight Special from 1979 with Roger McGuinn from The Byrds and DJ Wolfman Jack! What a banger! They sound great!!
Good Vibrations 1966 -
I'm pickin' up good vibrations
She's giving me the excitations
Brian's Back 1978 -
"Good Vibrations" caused such a sensation
Looking Back With Love 1981 -
Good vibrations, assassinations
Spring Vacation 2012 -
Spring vacation, good vibrations
Are there any other call backs to Good Vibrations in any other Beach Boys or solo recordings? What's your favorite rhyme with Good Vibrations - excitations, sensation, assassinations or vacation?
Such an underrated gem from The Beach Boys featuring the late Carl Wilson's haunting vocals. It's hard to believe The Beach Boys had such strong material like this and California Feelin' just sitting in the can during the late 70's.
Theatrical Trailer for Heat released in the fall of 1995. I love the grainy picture of the film and original color. There was a certain quality to actual film reels that has been lost in the cinema of today. The exposure of the light, shade and color of the film was magic and an art and cannot be duplicated with digital. Every detail of the actors face was shown with imperfections that made what you were seeing appear to be real. This is also lost as the a.i. and filters make the already plastic actors appear to be a fake wax figures. I believe this along with very boring and uninspired writing has contributed to the downfall of Hollywood and the theater business.
Too bad we never got Arnold vs Dolph in a future war movie.
Which of these wrestlers who were around during the New Generation Era (1993-1997) do you wish could've competed in the Attitude Era (1998-2001)? Who do you think would've succeeded the most during the Attitude Era?
Dr. Silberman immediately starts questioning Reese about his mission, rank as a soldier and John Connor. Also, when he starts questioning Reese his beeper goes off then later when he's leaving the station and the T-800 enters it goes off again.
Dr. Silberman walked by both the T-800 in the first film and the T-1000 in the second film and both terminators let him live. Dr. Silberman knew what the T-800 did in the police station and still didn't believe Sarah was telling the truth. Dr. Silberman wanted to keep Sarah Connor locked up and unable to communicate with John Connor for a reason. He taped the interviews with Sarah and Kyle's telling of future events for a reason.
Was Dr. Silberman sent in from Skynet to ensure Reese and Sarah were locked up and get intel from them until the terminator could get to them?
This 90’s look seems kinda good without trying too hard to dress. Is it worth trying now ? I mean can we try ?
Here is Darian's 1960's flavored cover of Brian's Sweet Insanity song Do You Have Any Regrets?
