So we all know when DL attempted to unleash his virus and destroy the internet in S2 right? What if I told you his plot was even more sinister than just that.

If you look closely at the first portal you can see messages on Alan’s Discord Server and if you look it up you’ll discover that those messages were sent in 2020. Since we know that S2 canonically happened in 2018, this means that those portals weren’t just leading to the internet, they were leading to the internet 2 years into the future, further supported by how CO and DL ended up in their own Showdown ep on YT (which came out in 2020) as well as there being a Covid update news on Twitter after they flew thru the portals.

Which brings us to his true motive, he was gonna sent his virus into the future from 2018 to 2020, and we all know what happened in 2020 right? Yup QUARANTINE. He was gonna destroy the internet in a time where the world needed it the most.

Had Second Coming not pumped his ass full of Life Energy that day we would’ve been cooked that year.

If Hazard’s nuke is any indication, that cobblestone is gonna be the ultimate game changer.

- MCs of modern Sci Fi battle Shonen who live in futuristic worlds plagued with dangerous monsters (Kaiju and Varmints), with there being organizations (Kaiju Defense Force and Raiden Company) that specialize in dealing with these threats using weapons/technology created from said creatures, the most notable of them being specialized combat suits that boost the wearers physicality.

- Initially starting off as low level cleaners for their companies, their lives would change upon being fused with a power related to the beings that endanger their worlds (Kafka ingesting a Kaiju Parasite while Sumire had a Full Dimension Jacket imbedded into her after being kidnapped by Aliens), granting them an inhuman transformation that lets them dish out insanely destructive energy attacks and regenerate from virtually anything as long as their core remains intact.

- After which they’d be captured by the military branches of their companies who wanted to utilize their powers at their expense, but they would prove themselves capable of controlling said powers on their own thus allowing them to be spared and become official members of the military, with their main supervisors being a laidback and somewhat childish sword specialist (Soshiro Hoshina and Hazuki Sayama). 

- Throughout their journeys they’d struggle to understand and master their powers while being hunted by villains attempting to seize those powers for themselves. 

Meta connection: They’re the first battle Shōnen MCs who aren’t teenage boys.

HOLY SHIT!! After all this time I have FINALLY FOUND THE TRUE KAFKA MU!! Unfortunately Rai Rai Rai manga is only about 1/3 of the way through its story but it’s a really solid story so far and I highly recommend it especially to Kaiju 8 fans. And no doubt it will start popping off once it gets animated, along with the stonks for this MU.
