Did you know about 9 before 9 rule for job hunt?
As per The Sun, if you complete 9 job related tasks before 9am every morning you are better off with your job hunting. the tasks dont have to be huge,
- stuff like sending a follow up email,
- tweaking your resume for a specific role,
- connecting with someone on linkedin,
- researching a company,
- applying to a posting, etc.
the point is momentum.
the theory is, when youve already done 9 things before most people even start their day you feel like youre actually in control of the process instead of just doom scrolling job boards at midnight.
dont just blast out the same generic resume 9 times. make each task count even if its small.
Plus applying early in the morning may get more responses too.
Worth a try?
