As usual we have some who cope by attempting remove the bloom from another’s rose. Olandria’s trip to Nigeria is not just a hosting, it’s a cultural event and her welcome shows that. Some will cry at the comparison but like Meghan Sussex, Olandria seeks to use her platform as a celebrity/model to elevate not only her brand but girls and women.

I’m so proud of her for choosing to include a visit to young women to her program of events. I’m also proud that she doesn’t play small but rather allows her light to be a beacon to others to set excellence as a goal. I’m just as proud that we her fans elevate her unreservedly. As opposed to resenting the fact that we lift and celebrate her work ethic, kindness beauty and achievements…try elevating those you feel are worthy of shine, because while we ALL have insecurities Olandria is a confident empowered and even flawed woman who has prepared and is brilliantly meeting the moment.

One that will endure and if her streak of petty heralding her status as ICON IN THE MAKING irritates your soul, know it’s because your demons are disturbed.

I’m sure if you nitpick, misconstrue or outright fabricate you can find fault in Nic’s support of his partner but the truth: Nic is Ola’s loudest cheerleader and Captain of their relationship.

Some really bitter unhappy ppl have said Nic is jealous of O’s success. A claim that makes no sense because after making sure she was well rooted in her chosen career focus, THEY turned to establishing him in his. One of the things I most admire about them is their commitment to focus on self and career. That approach has allowed them both to thrive as individuals and enabled them to live beside, not through the other.

Ola chooses to mark a lot of her milestones individually and as a woman, that makes sense. Nic however, in word and deed shows his support by uplifting and praising her achievements. Yes through likes and occasionally comments on her posts but mostly when speaking to fans (whom he calls family) and publications where he never fails to uplift and praise her.

Olandria being chosen as a SI rookie is huge for her career and as you can see…Nicolas was in the likes at the announcement and continues to be so as she promotes the her acheivement. No he’s not in the comments, but he communicated to all via threads that he unashamedly is down for his woman.

So just a word to those who are determined to disparage him, were he a bad unsupportive BF, you would not have to lie about him liking/supporting her content and speaking life into their relationship at every given chance.
