Hi. Does anyone know if I can apply for citizenship if I am 18. My mum has applied for hers in April in 2025 (based on residency), and she is still waiting. However, my friend told me that her mum had applied and her sister (who was over 18) also applied at the same time. Basically, if you are 18+ you do not need to wait for your parent to get citizenship first, you can also apply. Is this true? I turned 18 in Decemebr 2025, but I haven't applied. Should I do it now? And if I wait till my mum's citizenship is approved, will it cause any problems that I didn't apply earlier? Also, if I do apply now, will I use my mum's bank statements, since I am still dependant on her. Any information would be appreciated.
