[14 YoE, Unemployed, Principal/Lead/Senior Engineer, Remote]

I am software engineer with around 14 years of experience out of which first 6-7 years I have been in web2 while last 8 years I have been in web3.

Due to restructuring in August in my company, I am looking out for job.

  • What roles/industries are you targeting?: Mostly web3 (blockchain domain). Roles are senior/lead/principal protocol engineer
  • Where are you applying? (Local, remote, willing to relocate?): Remote
  • What's your job search situation and challenges?: I have applied to quite a few places in web3 through hiring portal (mostly all remote) and I am getting either ghosted or get standard rejection email.
  • Any specific resume sections you want feedback on?: On Summary, selected work and overall presentation (more details pasted below).
  • Visa/citizenship status affecting your search?: No, most of the jobs I applied to are remote.

I have asked AI to format it and make it impact driven using standard latex template with my content. I also review and correct it after that. So, it is not complete AI slop. And I also tailor my resume for each position I am targeting.

Even after all of these, I am not sure why I am getting rejection at first stage. Is it due to how I am presenting my capability or positioning myself? or standard ATS formatting issue.

Any help or feedback is greatly appreciated.

ICP app unable to get appointment for fingerprint

Hey Guys,

I recently got the golden visa for my child but now and in icp portal also submitted application for emirates id. The status of the application is "Waiting for Fingerprinting".

This is where I am stuck, on mobile app whichever enrollment center I select I am not able to select appointment date and on smart services website I am not even able to open the page.

Have anybody faced similar problem? If yes, can you tell me what worked for you?
