I've participated in the protest before the unfortunate March and incidents that followed and it was heart warming to see how peaceful the protests were with students embracing the constitution and his maker and their right to protest.

The incidents on the day of March are absolutely horrific with police brutality reaching unimaginable scales from not only beating up protestants but also women and unfortunately children. It is alleged that a girl child ended up losing her life as well which is tragic.

But as a consequence, the ever growing support to this protest has intensified even more and along with that I have noticed that a lot of propaganda is openly being challenged and blatant lies being called out which used to work up until this point.

I am surprised to see that even casuals are calling out people who cry on dipke as being casteist pos, everyone trying to derail the protest with religion and whatever whataboutery they can conjure.

I personally think this is the right time to point out that the fact that this propaganda machinery has always existed and used against minorities and marginalized of the country with blatant lies to cater to the already politically rich who often cried victim as people are now much more receptive after experiencing the protests themselves both offline and online and now being painfully aware that there are indeed people manipulating public opinion for some money.

What are all of your thoughts on this? I see the potential to post more openly in bigger subs post the protest in this time and post this as people would be much more open to supporting actual suffering than blatant propaganda by the eternal victims who almost have blasphemous claims like reverse casteism if we share our experiences in a digestible way and maybe through memes or such just like them lol ig.
