NNGGGHUUUHHH
I’m actually in pain.
You know when you eat shit on concrete over and over, and the pain only catches up to you the next day?
Well, I picked up skating the last couple of months. And yesterday trying to do a steeper ramp than I’m used to, i fell again, and again, and again, and didn’t even manage to do the ramp without assistance in the end…
I hit my head multiple times, and my neck and tailbone are also FEELING IT.
I think I’m ready to buy a helmet.
On the plus side, while practicing near my house, two strangers complimented my ollie.
And another thing, literally even carrying a skateboard makes people soooo much more inclined to have a conversation with you. It’s like my camera hobby all over again. I like yapping with strangers though so its not too bad.
Speaking of strangers, the other day, there was an old man with his friendship group outside my house. I was rushing off to muay thai, but stopped to talk with them- as you do with people standing outside your house. Turns out, the guy used to live in my house from the 1940s - 1990s. Crazy stuff!! I would’ve actually have loved to talk with him more cause i had questions about what the town used to look like back then, but I truly was in a rush!
