due to "unforseen" circumstances the only 2 guys who thread in our shop are "no longer working for us" , that said i have the opportunity to get that sweet 35 cent raise if i can do it.

i havent threaded since high-school and i think i have this thing figured out enough to start practicing.

that said the leaver circled in blue is the only one i cant figure out, i figured id ask yall before i just throw it and see what breaks.

can this still be used while i wait for parts? or am i flirting with cascade failure?

can the glass be replaced without the screen?

every time i go for it, im reminded why i shouldnt.

old timer was helping the new trainee on the vtl, i caught this while walking by and " helped" them figure out why it wasnt cutting right. god love em both lol

moving shop across town and found this behind a surface grinder that hasnt moved since the 60s no one has a clue what its for. almost looks like an old scale ruler from high school drafting class.

any ideas?
