I got these in an old tin box from France.

Pic 1 and 2 are clearies

Pic 3 are cats eye shooters but it would be great to have some clues on the maker.

Pic 4 to 9 look like master sunbursts but im not sure. Im really interested in knowing more about them.

Any help is much appreciated!

Lot of asian marbles???

following u/Lost_Elk929 asian marbles post I thought it would be interesting to show the ones I purchased recently.

Pics 1 to 4 are 16mm

Pics 5 and 6 are 22mm shooters

Pic 7 Dark green transparent base with grey ribbon (Im not sure its the same maker as the previous ones but looks like it)

pic 8 transparent base with veneered ribbon (not sure about the maker but could be the same as the previous opaque mibs)

Any insight on these would be much appreciated.

Different density in euro sparklers.

For future reference.

Dark blue euro sparklers can range from an almost black to just a few ribbons. Base is always transparent even if sometimes it looks blue.

When in doubt, put against the light and check multiple angles.

The left most mib is almost all covered by the dense veins but there was this angle when you can spot a little bit of transparent base.

Big bubbles clustered in the center are common like in many french sparklers.

Some marbles that need clarification.

pic 1: Bubbly with a faint ribbon, could be peltier.

pic 2:I strongly believe these are both peltier rainbos.

pic3: I tried to find these on the guides and look like heaton swirl

pic 4: Maybe MK bumblebees but the base is blue transparent...

pic 5: maybe veligglas but not busy enough and base color doesnt match anything i have seen

pic 6: maybe a type 2 veiligglas but the color is odd and the ribbon path looks two smooth

u/No-Beginning-7136 — 2 months ago

Pic 1 and 2: Opaque veiligglas shooters

Pic 3: 16mm opaque veiligglas

pic 4: 16mm opaque veiligglas. First in bottom row is likely a very dense type 1 and the light purple one next to it may not be veiligglas at all and needs clarification

pic 5: Very dense type 1 with green transparent base, two type 1 with blue and orange, very busy/dense white type 3 and an unusual brown type 1.

pic 6: Some flaked examples

I appreciate any help with the ones needing clarification and please correct me if mislabeled anything.

Pic1 is type 2 and 3

Pic 2 is type 2 in lower section, type 3 (the white in the center), an ethereal weirdo plus an unusual type 1 (white/purple)

pic 3 to 5 is an assortment of type 1 representing most colors in this collection

Next part will cover the opaques.
