Government Programmes + Cadre Meetings: Who Is Paying?

Recently, whenever the CM and IT Minister travel to different places for government programmes such as pension distribution, inaugurations, etc they are also holding meetings with their party cadre during the same visits.

Who is paying for these cadre meetings?

If the meetings are political party programmes, are the TDP or the leaders themselves bearing the expenses? Or are any of the costs, like venue, arrangements, travel, publicity, etc., being paid from government funds?

There is nothing wrong with a political party conducting meetings with its cadre. But when a government programme and a party meeting happen during the same visit, it should be clear which expenses are official government expenditure and which are party expenditure.

Can the government or the party make this information public and clarify who is funding these meetings?

YSR: A Legacy That Continues to Be Remembered

Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy, popularly known as YSR, served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 2004 until his death in 2009. A qualified doctor and a strong grassroots leader, he built a deep connection with people across the state. In 2003, YSR undertook the historic 1,475-km Praja Prasthanam padayatra, travelling through rural Andhra Pradesh and connecting directly with people and their concerns. The following year, he led the Congress to victory and became Chief Minister. His tenure was marked by several major welfare and development initiatives, including free electricity for farmers, Aarogyasri, the 108 emergency ambulance service, fee reimbursement, and Jalayagnam irrigation projects. He won a second consecutive term in 2009, but his tenure was cut short by a helicopter crash on September 2, 2009. His death led to widespread mourning across Andhra Pradesh and left a lasting impact on the state's political history.
