Job trauma?

I was watching a documentary today about Jeffery Dahmer, and the description of the crime scene was awful.

How do you guys deal with trauma from bad crime scenes? Are you offered therapy proactively or do you just somehow muscle through?

Thanks for any insight.

Corroborate?

I love watching True Crime shows. I deeply appreciate the knowledge and intelligence of cops and detectives.

But I don’t understand why most pronounce it “coWABBERate” in interviews. It’s CORROBORATE. Pronounced just like it looks.

Why is this word rarely pronounced correctly, when it’s presumably used on a daily basis?
