I thought some might appreciate my mid century abstract tattoo.

Tell me about a time a human showed you kindness and you never forgot it

Years ago, I was sobbing on BART in San Francisco. A woman handed me a small clementine and said "I hope you find rest tonight".

She got off at the next stop and I just sat there looking at the tiny fruit, and it shook me from the dark place my mind was.

I kept the fruit by my bedside for days and did sleep well. I opted not to eat it but I've held a special correlation between cuties and rest since.
