Feel like I hit the lottery, in a bad way. Venting.

A majority of people with Imprezas report really good reliability. "130k miles only maintenance and couple minor repairs!" "190k km and still going strong!" That's awesome, and I expected similar reliability. Nope.

I have a 2015 base with a manual. Cam carrier seals are leaking onto the exhaust manifold. Pcv leak, upper oil pan seals, ac compressor, clutch throwout bearing. So far I've fixed the pcv and oil pan. That was $4k including the radiator and hoses.

Now I've got blue smoke on startup, which is probably another engine-out repair.

I only have 93k miles. "Normal maintenance" shouldn't require $5k+ in engine seals before 100k miles.

F this car, f their glued together "silicone gasket" engines, and f Subaru. I'll never buy another.
