27M Considering Move to Laramie

The title describes it the most. Myself (27M) am a fully remote worker who travels the Western US for work. I was raised in Iowa then spent 8 years in Texas until ending up in Colorado where I have been for 16 months. I enjoy the mountains, but don’t love some things about Colorado.

I had considered Fort Collins or Boulder, but costs didn’t line up for the frequency of traveling I have to do. Laramie seems like a great college town and a great place to call home when I’m not on the road.

Are there any pros/cons for someone my age considering making this move? Anything I need to be aware of? As well, I live in a Mobile Home in CO and considered buying one in Laramie. Any parts of town to avoid? I plan on making a visit up that way before I consider moving. Just wanting some honest thoughts: the good, bad, the ugly
